EmDash websites
We design new business websites on EmDash, run them on Cloudflare’s network and keep them updated afterwards. The build, hosting and core updates sit on one plan, and the person who builds your site is the one who answers when you need a change.

The platform
EmDash is an open-source content system that Cloudflare released in April 2026 and took to version 1.0 in September. It does the job WordPress does for a business site on a different foundation: it runs on Cloudflare’s network, and every plugin is fenced into its own sandbox.
Pages and posts are edited in an admin. When you’re signed in, an Edit button on the live page opens that page’s content.
A plugin has to say up front what it needs, such as sending email, and it can’t reach anything else on the site.
Pages are cached at the Cloudflare data centre closest to each visitor. Saving a change clears that cache, so nobody purges anything by hand.
We host EmDash sites on Cloudflare, and the code can also run on other hosting.
What we build
Most of our new builds are sites for service businesses. If yours needs something on this list, EmDash handles it.

On EmDash today
Our own sites moved first, so every problem showed up on us before it could show up on a client. Client builds join the portfolio as they launch.
The process
We go over what the site has to do and tell you whether EmDash fits. If it needs to sell products, it doesn’t, and we say so.
The site comes together at a preview address. You see it in stages and send feedback as it goes.
We test on real devices and move your domain. After that, core updates, uptime checks and your monthly revision hours are on us.
Questions
It reached version 1.0 in September 2026, and our own site plus two others run on it every day. The one gap that matters for most businesses is online stores, which stay on WordPress.
Forms, search titles and descriptions, and redirects are part of how we set up every site. Anything more specific gets built into the site itself or added as a plugin that runs in its own sandbox.
The content can be restored to any minute in the last 30 days, and the site’s code is kept in version control, so a bad change can be undone.
Yes. Log in to the admin, or click Edit on any page while you’re signed in.
You own the site and the domain. If you leave, we hand over your content and help move the DNS.
No. Plans start at $49 a month, and you can cancel anytime.
Send a link, or a few lines about the business if you don’t have a site yet. We’ll come back with whether EmDash fits and which plan we’d put you on.
